Dayton Children's has opened a Crisis Center adjacent to the Children's ER. This will re -route the mental health ER visits away from the emergency room and to the this center so they can be better assessed leaving the ER for medical emergencies. They are open from 8am- midnight Monday-Friday, and 12 noon to midnight on Saturday and Sunday. If you are needing an assessment for mental health concerns outside this time, please go the the Children's ER.
Inpatient, Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient treatment options are available at Dayton Children's:
Children's Medical Dayton opened an inpatient adolescent unit. If your child is assessed at the Dayton Children's Crisis Center and they find a need for inpatient treatment, CMC may be an option for you.

Maryhaven in Columbus is the closest residential treatment program for teens with the disease of addiction. They do not provide detox services, but you can arrange for detox, if needed, before your teen enters this treatment program by going to your nearest emergency room prior to admission.
